Description: Fontaine Subé Construction date: 1905-1906 Style: Art-Nouveau WWI: Damaged Features: Created on the initiative of a competition open to architects and sculptors. 87 teams took part in the first phase of the contest. The fountain is 17 meters high and is presented in a column surrounded of vine on which takes place a group carved allegories. A woman standing, crowned and draped, symbolizes the city. During World War II, the fountain loses its Winged Victory. It was replaced identically in 1989.
